We write this letter with great pleasure to recommend Rob Ramirez and his company, Copper Beech Builders Inc. We have known Rob since 2009 when we constructed a new home at 40 James Street in Southampton Village, and we have recently engaged Rob to build a second home for us at 131 Herrick Road in Southampton Village (currently under construction). We highly recommend Rob without hesitation for any construction project you may have, whether it is building a new home or renovating an existing property.

We first met Rob when we decided to demo our existing home at 40 James Street and build a new, much larger and far more complex house. At the time we were living in Miami – before facetime or the ability to text photos. Rob was the lead on this massive project and delivered us a “dream house” despite our inability to be on site. Rob handled not only management of the construction and selecting excellent subcontractors, but also guided us through numerous design changes and the many other issues that arise during the course of building a house. He is extremely communicative so we always knew what was happening and were able to make decisions quickly, and Rob always offered productive solutions. We could not have been happier with the outcome of that build and our working relationship with Rob.

Twelve years later we have again engaged Rob to demo and build us a new house at 131 Herrick Road. This time we are living in the Village and it has been wonderful to work with Rob and his team in person and real time. Rob has engaged incredible subcontractors and has great working relationships with each of them. We have encountered numerous architectural issues during the build, and Rob has come up with practical and productive solutions for each of them. He has helped us value engineer the project with alternatives to keep us on budget. Rob also has a great design sense and so we often work together on issues we typically would consult a designer on. The project is progressing extremely well and we couldn’t be happier. It is truly a pleasure to work with Rob and he will always be our first choice for any future projects.
